Recently, the first issue of the "Studies on the Qiaopi Culture" collection has been officially published. This collection is supervised by the Guangdong Federation of Social Sciences, jointly organized by the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the Overseas Chinese Research Institute of Jinan University, and the Guangdong Overseas Chinese Cultural Research Base of Jinan University. Its aim is to deepen the cultural characteristics of Guangdong's overseas Chinese hometowns, promote research on the history, literature, overseas Chinese spirit, and related protection of overseas Chinese, and assist in the inheritance and promotion of excellent local culture.

As a true record of the overseas struggle history of the vast number of overseas Chinese, the overseas criticism is a historical witness to their emotions towards their motherland and hometown. It has precious historical documentary value, profound cultural connotations of overseas Chinese, and important academic research and educational significance. In 2013, the Chinese Overseas Chinese Archive was successfully selected for the Memory of the World Heritage List, further highlighting its international cultural value.

In order to unite the hearts of overseas Chinese, unleash their strength, and support the construction of a strong cultural province and high-quality development in Guangdong, the collection of "Studies on the Qiaopi Culture" has emerged. The first edition includes four columns: "Anti Japanese War Flames", "Overseas Chinese Criticism History", "Overseas Chinese Spirit", and "Overseas Chinese Criticism Literature". It includes 10 high-quality articles covering research results from multiple perspectives, demonstrating academic depth and cultural breadth.

The publication of this collection relies on the academic resources of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education and relevant institutions of Jinan University. It is committed to systematically sorting out overseas Chinese literature, exploring the spiritual connotation of overseas Chinese, and providing a platform for cultural protection and education popularization.
