On the afternoon of March 27, 2025, the “Million Talents Gathering in Southern Guangdong” and “Pearl Dream Future Attracting Talents” Zhuhai Talent Introduction University Tour culminated in the Jinan University Zhuhai Campus Alumni and Cooperative Enterprises 2025 Graduates Employment Mutual selection Conference. This significant event took place at the Zhuhai Campus Gymnasium and was jointly hosted by Jinan University, the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Zhuhai Municipal Committee (Talent Office), the Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Zhuhai Education Bureau. The Student Employment Guidance Center, Zhuhai Campus, and Zhuhai Talent Resources and Employment Service Center organized the proceedings.

Importance of the Event
The Mutual selection Conference received strong attention and support from the Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and Jinan University. Leaders from relevant municipal units, university administration, and various academic departments participated in the event to provide guidance, listen to employer feedback on talent development, and hear graduates discuss their job aspirations and career uncertainties. They encouraged attendees to seize the optimal job market timing, actively submit resumes, and leverage personal strengths to contribute to society.

This conference served as a vital initiative to enhance cooperation between schools and the local community, aiming for high-quality and full employment for graduates. It successfully attracted 69 reputable employers, including Gree Electric, Kingsoft Software, and Guanyu Battery. The event showcased multiple industries, such as technology, finance, education, culture, and healthcare, offering more than 2,000 excellent job opportunities and varied career paths for graduates.

Thriving Job Fair Atmosphere
The conference drew nearly 2,400 college graduates eager to enter the job market, fostering a vibrant atmosphere for job-seeking. Employers received a total of 1,288 resumes, and 312 preliminary employment intentions were established on-site. Encouragingly, some non-fresh graduates also participated to gain insights into market trends and employer expectations, allowing them to accumulate experience and plan their careers strategically.

To enhance the job-seeking experience, several specialized service areas were established at the conference, including AI interview rooms, mentor guidance zones, policy consultation booths, and alumni empowerment groups. Senior career mentors and distinguished alumni from the Greater Bay Area were present to offer professional advice on interview techniques, resume crafting, career planning, and policy interpretation. This support aimed to address the diverse needs of graduates and provide effective assistance in their job searches.
