As the Spring Festival approaches, Jinan University fostered a warm, festive atmosphere for students remaining on campus, hosting a series of New Year gatherings across its five campuses: Shipai, Panyu, Guangyuan East, Zhuhai and Shenzhen. University President Xing Feng and other key leaders, including Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Sun Yu, Vice President Zhang Xiaoxin, and Vice President Zhang Hong, joined students for celebratory meals and expressed their heartfelt New Year wishes.

President Xing Feng, marking his first anniversary at Jinan University, shared three key hopes for the students: to be ambitious dreamers, diligent learners, and proactive contributors to society. He emphasized the importance of safety, communication with family, and continued academic pursuits during the holiday.

Sun Yu highlighted the university's commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable Spring Festival for all on-campus students, while Zhang Xiaoxin praised the faculty and students of the Chinese Language Institute for their achievements. Zhang Hong spoke about the advancements on the Shenzhen and Zhuhai campuses.

The celebrations were filled with traditional New Year decorations, gifts, and a sense of community. Students received red scarves, lucky cards and New Year gift packages. University departments also provided meal vouchers for all students staying on campus. The gatherings provided a heartwarming experience for students, reinforcing a sense of belonging and festive cheer.
