Notable guests included Fan Tao, Director of the Exchange Department of the Guangdong Liaison Office in Hong Kong, Cen Lichun, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office in Macao, and Wang Yu, Chairman of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Overseas Students Management Research Branch of the Guangdong Higher Education Association.

The event featured prominent judges, including Zhao Tong, Vice President and Senior Judge of the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court, and Xu Xirong, Director of the Law Department at Guangzhou Medical University, who presided over the Q&A competition.

 Welcome Addresses

In her welcome speech, Wang Yu emphasized the importance of Basic Law knowledge for students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. She referenced General Secretary Xi Jinping's guidance and stated that this activity not only promotes the One Country, Two Systems policy but also supports the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. She encouraged participating students to deepen their connection to the motherland and enhance their legal literacy.

Chen Qi also highlighted the significance of understanding the Constitution and Basic Laws, emphasizing their roles in the successful implementation of One Country, Two Systems. He urged students to embrace their national identity and support reunification efforts.
