On November 28, 2024, the launching ceremony for the 15th anniversary celebration of Jinan University International Business School took place at the Jinan University (Zhuhai) Academic Exchange Center. The event attracted nearly 500 attendees, including university officials, alumni, faculty, and students, marking a significant milestone for the institution.

 Ceremony Highlights

The ceremony featured prominent figures such as:

- Lu Jianmin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jinan University Zhuhai Campus

- Wu Jing, Dean of the International Business School

- Zheng Canzhen, President of the International Business School Alumni Association

The event was structured into three chapters and included fifteen themed activities under the titles National Business Memory, Integrating Intelligence to Build Business, and Building the Future Together. These activities spanned multiple fields, including academia, culture, and sports.

 Key Speeches

In his address, Lu Jianmin highlighted the school's achievements since its establishment in 2010, emphasizing its commitment to international cooperation, scientific research, and innovative teaching methods. He noted the school's role in contributing to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's development and its focus on cultivating talent aligned with national innovation strategies.

Wu Jing provided an overview of the school's progress, detailing the establishment of advantageous undergraduate programs and master's degrees, as well as a collaborative education model. He discussed the school's dedication to Party building, educational reform, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data into business education.

Zheng Canzhen, representing the mentors, congratulated the school on its anniversary and encouraged external mentors to support the institution's mission.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, the International Business School has organized various activities, including:

- The Youth Gift 118, Celebrating 15 Years of Founding Happy Run series

- The Party Building Leading Project - Academic Ability Enhancement Plan

Awards were presented during the ceremony to recognize outstanding achievements among teams, collectives, and individuals.
