On December 6, a delegation from Jinan University's Student Employment Guidance Center visited KPMG Huazhen Certified Public Accountants for a signing and awarding ceremony to establish the Jinan University College Student Employment Education Practice Base. Key attendees included Li Yang, Director of the Student Employment Guidance Center; Su Ke, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics; Li Yongqian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management; Dou Huan, Deputy Director of the Accounting Department; Peng Jing, Managing Partner of KPMG South China; and Zhao Ying, Senior Manager of Human Resources.

During the symposium, Director Li Yang presented an overview of Jinan University, highlighting its historical development, academic strengths, educational achievements, and commitment to talent cultivation. He emphasized the long-standing collaboration between the university and KPMG China, expressing hopes that this partnership will enhance cooperation, expand opportunities, and foster deeper exchanges aimed at supporting talent development and contributing to economic and social progress.

Peng Jing, representing KPMG, welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the strong ties between the firm and Jinan University. She described the collaboration as a vital step toward resource sharing and leveraging complementary strengths. Peng expressed enthusiasm for developing a platform that will facilitate teaching practice, talent cultivation, and research cooperation between academia and industry.

The ceremony culminated in the signing of the Jinan University Student Employment Education Practice Base Project Cooperation Framework Agreement by Director Li Yang and Partner Peng Jing, who also unveiled the plaque for the new practice base. The participants engaged in discussions on talent development and aligning employment supply with demand.

Moving forward, Jinan University plans to advance the establishment of the Employment Education Practice Base, further enhance collaboration with KPMG, and strengthen the integration of industry and education to ensure high-quality employment opportunities for its graduates.
