On the morning of November 14, Sun Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Jinan University Party Committee, led a team to inspect safety measures at the affiliated middle school, elementary school, and kindergarten. The inspection was accompanied by Li Ping, Minister of the Political and Security Department, Wang Jiapeng, Deputy Director of the Party and Government Office, and Wang Yong, Director of the Petition Office.

During the visit, Sun and his team received detailed reports on recent safety initiatives from the affiliated schools. They closely examined the implementation of various safety measures, including the emergency alarm system, video surveillance system, anti-fall safety nets, and fire safety and laboratory equipment. The team also provided guidance on improving traffic safety during peak school hours and managing school gate security.

Sun emphasized that safety is the cornerstone of all campus activities and must be a continuous priority. He urged the affiliated schools to enhance their political awareness, fulfill their primary responsibilities, and strengthen safety inspections and repairs. The goal is to create a secure and worry-free environment for students' learning and growth while maintaining campus safety and stability.

The inspection included a review of security facilities at the affiliated elementary school, with staff from the Political and Security Department and the Office of Basic Education participating in the assessment.
