This Happy Running activity serves as both a starting point and a warm-up, Su stated. We hope to ignite everyone's passion for sports in a fun and competitive atmosphere, helping them discover their inner energy. He also highlighted how sports can shape personal qualities and enhance both physical and mental health.
Before the run commenced, Su Bingtian initiated a sports initiative, urging all new students to actively engage in physical exercise. Under his guidance, the freshmen participated in warm-up exercises, stretching their limbs and preparing to immerse themselves in the upcoming activities with enthusiasm.
Pan Qiliang, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Panyu Campus Management Committee, expressed hopes that the students would embody their fighting spirit on the track. He noted that Jinan University has a rich sports tradition and prioritizes the development of sports education and competition, which has left a lasting impact on the university's history.
The event not only marked the beginning of the school year for these new students but also reinforced the university's commitment to promoting a vibrant sports culture on campus.
