On June 12th, the International Conference Hall of the Zeng Xianzi Science Museum buzzed with over 120 attendees as the 6th Seminar on Teacher Ethics and Professional Conduct Construction unfolded. Noteworthy faces present included Lin Rupeng, the School Party Committee Secretary, Principal Xing Feng, Deputy Party Committee Secretary Chen Ying, and other esteemed members.

In extending accolades to the award recipients and acknowledging the relentless efforts of comrades in grooming the ethical conduct of school teachers, Secretary Lin Rupeng laid out four essential directives. These encompass ensuring the effective implementation of ethical responsibilities, enhancing ethics education efficacy, fostering a diverse atmosphere, and executing prompt responses to arising issues.

Underlining the necessity for all party units to adapt proactively to evolving teacher dynamics, Secretary Lin Rupeng emphasized the fundamental need for robust ethical and behavioral standards enforcement. An appeal for heightened ideological and educational support for teachers was made to fortify a united front towards school progress and national excellence.

Principal Xing Feng later revealed the 2023 theme-based accolades for professional ethics, with titles like Building a Strong Country in the Education Industry with Me taking center stage. Furthermore, commendations extended to winners of the teacher ethics-themed essays and micro videos, including standout pieces like Sidelights of Professor Ji Zong'an from the School of Literature at Jinan University and We ae ready to build a powerful China.

Sharing different organizational approaches, party committee representatives shared insights. Wei Xia from the School of Literature reflected on loyalty and respect for Jinan's ethos, while Luo Guowei from the School of Information Science and Technology elaborated on work system strategies for ethical conduct. Notable winners, such as Wang Sicong and Fu Yong, offered their success narratives emphasizing a service-oriented ethos and innovative interview techniques.

Minister Chen Yaozhong delivered a profound address on the Quality Standards for Party Building and Ideological and Political Work of College Teachers (Trial), elucidating the document's framework, context, and deployment guidelines. Additionally, professional training was conducted to underscore the essence of strategic alignment, task prioritization, adherence to standards, and self-enhancement.
