President Xing Feng, a distinguished academic figure and leader of Jinan University, recently spearheaded a research initiative at the Shenzhen and Zhuhai campuses, focusing on elevating the academic quality and strategic development of the campuses. During the visits, Xing provided valuable insights and directives aimed at optimizing the educational landscape and refining the one body, two wings educational model of the university.

At the Shenzhen campus, Xing meticulously inspected various facilities, including the campus environment, student dormitories, and dining areas. Engaging with the campus management committee, he delved into discussions regarding the campus's history, current status, challenges, and plans for the expansion of the new campus. Emphasizing the importance of a student-centric approach, Xing underscored the need for continuous enhancement of the disciplinary structure, utilization of existing strengths, and improvement of the overall student learning experience to foster a strong sense of belonging among students.

During the research symposium at the Shenzhen campus, Xing's hands-on approach and strategic guidance were evident as he interacted with stakeholders and provided tailored recommendations for sustainable growth and academic excellence.

Transitioning to the Zhuhai campus, Xing embarked on a comprehensive tour of key facilities, including the Biomedical Experimental Building, Library, Teaching Building, and more. Engaging with campus leaders and department heads, he explored topics ranging from disciplinary layouts and enrollment strategies to faculty development and local collaborations.  Xing stressed the significance of strategic planning, the internationalization of disciplines, and the integration of scientific and technological advancements to bolster the campus's contribution to the development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
