The school recently convened the 2023 annual inspection meeting for the provincial key research platform in humanities, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of academic research and innovation. The meeting, attended by esteemed figures including Xia Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Zhang Xiaoxin, Vice President, brought together over 40 evaluation experts from prominent government departments and universities, underscoring the collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence in scholarly endeavors.

During the meeting, Zhang Xiaoxin commended the notable achievements in the construction of the university's key research platform for humanities in 2023 and outlined three key directives for its future development. These directives encompassed the imperative to enhance organized scientific research to address national and local priorities, foster innovative paradigms to establish a distinctive platform brand, and leverage the base system mechanism to facilitate talent cultivation and sustainable resource mobilization.

Representatives from 20 provincial-level key research platforms, including the Enterprise Development Research Institute, presented detailed reports on their progress, noteworthy accomplishments, challenges, and forthcoming plans. Evaluation experts meticulously assessed each platform, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for enhancement.

The inspection meeting served as a pivotal forum for knowledge sharing and collaboration among diverse research entities, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the academic community. By scrutinizing the platforms' offerings and strategies, the meeting not only enriched the platforms' scholarly depth but also contributed to the advancement of the school's Double First Class initiative.
