A team from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Jinan University, led by Dean Zhu Xiaofeng and Party Committee Secretary Jin Xuegang, recently embarked on a mission to Shixing County and Qujiang District in Shaoguan City as part of the Double Hundred Action medical assistance initiative. The team, comprising over 30 teachers and students, engaged in a range of activities aimed at promoting traditional Chinese medicine and providing healthcare services to the local community.
During their visit to Shixing Middle School and Zhangcheng Primary School, the team conducted educational sessions on traditional Chinese medicine, covering topics such as mental health counseling, emergency skills training, and traditional Chinese medicine dietary therapy. The interactive sessions, which reached around 800 students, aimed to deepen the students' understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture and its benefits.

In addition to educational activities, the team also held academic lectures at Shixing County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Qujiang District People's Hospital on topics like the diagnosis and treatment of gout and osteoporosis. These sessions were well-received by healthcare professionals and attendees, who found the information valuable and applicable to their daily lives.
Furthermore, the team provided free medical consultations and services at the People's Hospital of Qujiang District, offering treatments such as massage, moxibustion, and ear patches. Patients praised the team for their expertise, friendly demeanor, and effective healthcare guidance.
Dean Zhu Xiaofeng emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting traditional Chinese medicine culture and strengthening cooperation between institutions. Jin Xuegang highlighted the significance of the trip in showcasing the college's capabilities and fostering future collaborations in medical assistance efforts.

The visit not only provided valuable healthcare services to the community but also served as a platform for cultural exchange and collaboration in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
