Zhuhai Campus kicked off the 2024 Graduates Spring Campaign and Employment Promotion Series with a grand launch ceremony on March 29th. The event also featured the Spring Double Selection Fair for Alumni and Cooperative Enterprises.

During the launch ceremony, Zhang Hong, Vice President of the school and Director of the Zhuhai Campus Management Committee, emphasized the campus's commitment to prioritizing employment as a crucial task. Zhang urged all campus departments to enhance organizational leadership in the Spring Employment Promotion Action, utilize campus recruitment as the primary channel, conduct special initiatives like Visiting Enterprises for Graduates to Promote Employment to boost employment opportunities, enhance employment guidance services, strengthen ties between the school and enterprises, and implement various strategies to ensure high-quality and comprehensive employment for graduates.

Following the ceremony, Zhang Hong and other leaders proceeded to the Double Selection Fair to provide on-site guidance, engage with employers on talent cultivation, school-industry collaboration, and other pertinent topics. They encouraged colleges to leverage their academic strengths to forge meaningful partnerships with employers and motivated graduates to adopt a positive outlook on employment, showcasing their skills in various sectors with dedication and perseverance.

The Double Selection Event featured six zones, including New Quality Productivity, Alumni Association Recommendation, State-owned and Central Enterprises, Intelligent Manufacturing, Financial Investment, and Education Services. Over 60 companies from diverse fields such as technology, finance, law, education, culture, and medicine offered nearly 1500 formal and internship positions to campus graduates. An employment service area was established on-site to provide career planning, interview counseling, resume consultations, job-seeking skills, and policy guidance to empower graduates in their job search.

Moreover, a college student conscription consultation zone provided military policy insights and guidance for students interested in military service. Over 1000 students participated in the recruitment event, impressing participating companies with their enthusiasm, professionalism, and comprehensive skill set.

Prior to the event, Zhang Hong led a team to Gree Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., conducting a special initiative to expand employment opportunities and strengthen collaboration. Discussions revolved around fostering closer ties in talent development, research, innovation, and creating a new platform for industry-education integration. This endeavor aims to nurture exceptional talents and enhance collaborative development between academia and industry.

The double selection fair and enterprise visits to boost employment opportunities signify Zhuhai Campus's proactive approach in implementing the Ministry of Education's 2024 Spring Employment Promotion Action for Graduates. The campus plans to organize a series of employment activities, including challenges, policy lectures, career empowerment sessions, employment guidance, and the Career Development Bay Area. By actively engaging in recruitment activities and fostering school-enterprise partnerships, the campus is dedicated to ensuring high-quality and comprehensive employment opportunities for graduates in 2024.
