In a demonstration of unwavering commitment to humanitarian aid, the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University dispatched the 13th batch of medical teams to Ghana. The team, comprising 11 members from various medical specialties, is poised to embark on a one-year mission at the China Canada Friendship Hospital in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
The farewell ceremony, held on March 7th, was attended by esteemed leaders including Lin Rupeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jinan University, Hong An, Vice President, Pang Guomei, Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Province, and Zhong Wei, Director of the Overseas Affairs Office, alongside members of the medical team and family representatives of the aid to Ghana.

Addressing the team members, Lin emphasized the special mission at hand, urging them to provide exemplary medical care while prioritizing their own safety. He encouraged them to showcase the essence of Jinan medicine and contribute to the local community in Ghana.

Pang expressed hope for the team members to uphold the international humanitarian spirit and contribute to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road initiative. Zhong commended the team's dedication and emphasized the importance of promoting a human health community through practical actions.

Zheng Xiaofei, president of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, outlined the mission's objectives and encouraged the team to convey health and hope through their work, contributing positively to the development of China's foreign medical and health care industry.
Team leader Zhang Rijia, speaking on behalf of the team, pledged to uphold the Chinese medical spirit and deliver exceptional performance in their foreign medical aid work.

The 13th batch of the medical team consists of 11 members, including medical staff from various departments, a translator, and a chef. With an average age of 43 years and comprehensive training, they are well-prepared to embark on their mission to aid Ghana.
