The Huawei Connect 2023 Intelligent Pedestal Special Event was held on JNU's Shipai campus on Sept. 23. with the theme University-Enterprise Collaboration to Build a New Ecology of Digital Intelligence Talents. The event was organized by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and co-organized by the Academic Affairs Office of the Undergraduate School.

Li Deping, a teacher in the School of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering/JNU-Industry School of Artificial Intelligence, presented the project Mobile Robot Based on Atlas 200 DK A2, explaining the project’s development process. Atlas 200 is a development kit for applying artificial intelligence to such functions as analyzing images and natural language processing.

You Zhiyuan, Huawei Ascend software development engineer, spoke on “Uncovering Ascend Brain and Enjoying AI Development,” deeply explaining the Atlas 200 DK A2.

Zhou Junyuan, Mindspore Quantum evangelist at Huawei, presented Introduction to Quantum Computing and Quantum Programming Practices, introducing the principles and development process of quantum computing technology, and explaining the characteristics of the Mindspore Quantum computing framework.

This event gave students an opportunity to learn and communicate face to face with Huawei experts who shared in-depth knowledge, allowing them to learn cutting-edge AI theories, master development skills and enjoy AI development in a relaxed atmosphere.
