The educational platform XuetangX entered into a second-stage cooperation agreement with the Indonesia Cyber Education Institute during a symposium titled Digital Transformation Leading the Change in Higher Education, held June 30 at Universitas Terbuka in Jakarta. This agreement aims to facilitate the sharing and implementation of high-quality online courses from China to the Indonesian educational landscape. Eight JNU courses will cover subjects including Chinese medicine, language and culture, economics, and management. These courses will be accessible to Indonesians through XuetangX to enhance online teaching services in Indonesian higher education institutions and contribute to the global sharing of top-tier Chinese educational resources.
JNU has launched massive open online courses (MOOCs) internationally, with 22 courses already available on the international platforms iCourse and XuetangX. In addition, Intermediate Accounting II, led by Prof. Qi Jun of the School of Management, has been introduced in South Korea on the K-MOOC platform. These endeavors promote the global accessibility of JNU's high-quality MOOCs and online education offerings while bolstering JNU's influence. They also play a pivotal role in fostering international exchanges, sharing Chinese culture and telling China stories well on a global scale.
