To strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation, Zhi Tingrong, dean of JNU's School of Journalism and Communication, led a delegation to visit universities and institutions in Hong Kong from April 25 to 28. They included the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Baptist University, the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, the JNU Hong Kong Office, the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group and the Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). Participants mainly exchanged views on academic research, scientific cooperation, student training, and internships and employment for graduates.
The delegation visited the JNU Hong Kong Office and had a discussion with the director, Xie Weika on April 25. The two sides discussed the student employment situation and cooperative units in Hong Kong.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the Media Group and held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement.

The delegation also visited the four universities to exchange ideas with professors and scholars of journalism and communication, focusing on such issues as visiting scholars, talent development and personnel management. It actively communicated with TVB to promote student internships and training.
It was invited to deliver a report at Hong Kong Baptist University on April 26 on media convergence, international communication research, patriotism in e-sports, internet governance and health communication. Members communicated with department heads and teachers from the university's School of Communication on the latest research topics and achievements.
Seminar
The seventh Business News Awards ceremony was held there on April 27. Luo Xin presented the awards and was interviewed. An outstanding JNU graduate, Yang Yingwei, won three awards consecutively.
