The 2023 JNU May Day staff campus run, hosted by the Trade Union, was held on the sports ground on April 27. Over 3,000 staff members participated.

At the opening ceremony, JNU Vice President Rao Min, chairwoman of the Trade Union, extended May Day greetings to all the staff members on behalf of JNU party and government leaders. They care about staff members' physical and mental health, Rao said, and encourage various cultural and sports activities to enrich their spare time. She said she hoped all staff members would appreciate JNU's unique and rich culture, develop its spirit of self-improvement and contribute to its high-quality development through this May Day campus run.

As the starting gun was fired, 26 teams from all secondary unions on the main campus set off in turn. All teams showed their style in ways that fully reflected staff cohesion and solidarity and created a good campus atmosphere of enjoying sports and health.

Staff members from the Panyu campus and the College of Chinese Language and Culture, which is on the Huawen campus, also participated in the campus run.
