The 2022-2023 Second Meeting (the first in 2023) of the Council of the Guangdong Provincial Education Foundation was held in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, on March 31. For the first time, the foundation conferred medals of honor on 15 companies and institutions in Guangdong that have been supporting charitable causes for years. JNU was awarded a bronze medal of honor.

JNU actively implemented Guangdong's policies on holding the activity of Guangdong Poverty Alleviation Day on June 30, 2022. By calling on all faculty members and students to make donations and strongly promoting joint efforts to show interest, it created an atmosphere in which everybody has the ability, desire and tools to help people in need and empowered poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. From 2020 to 2022, JNU donated over 500,000 RMB to the foundation, totaling 1.78 million RMB.
