The paper marks Lin's significant progress in research on the Belt and Road Initiative. It is a vivid example of spreading China's wisdom and stories in international journals with scientific statistics and argumentation. The research carried out empirical studies on investment conditions of the Belt and Road in the annual reports of Chinese listed companies. Based on the different dimensions of enterprises' strategic responses, the paper answered important questions: how Chinese enterprises can be better involved in the development of the Belt and Road; how it can strengthen economic ties with countries along the Belt and Road. and how it can jointly establish a community of shared benefits, shared future and shared responsibilities with mutual political trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness against the complex international backdrop of the Russia-Ukraine conflict amid the pandemic.
