Prof Wang Nan of JNU's Department of Physics and Communication Engineering won second prize in the 2022 Young Teachers’ Lecture Competition for Basic Physics Courses in Guangdong Colleges and Universities on May 21. The competition was sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Society of Physics and undertaken by South China Normal University's School of Physics and Telecommunications Engineering.

The theme of this competition is teaching basic physics experiments. Fifteen young teachers from 15 universities, including JNU, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology and South China Normal University, participated in the finals. The competition concluded with three first prizes, five second prizes, seven third prizes, and awards for best interaction, best teaching style and best PowerPoint.
