Three students from JNU's class in accounting practice innovation -- Zhang Shi, Zhu Yang Enni and Fang Wu Annie Flora -- were selected into the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) A Star Program in May, under the guidance of Qi Jun, an associate professor in the Accounting Department of JNU's School of Management. After a monthlong interview process, they stood out among thousands of contestants from prestigious universities in many countries and regions around the world, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, New York University, the University of Michigan, the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The CGMA A Star Program offers only 40 places.

Initiated by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the program works with teachers and students from China's Ivy League and well-known corporate mentors in the industry. It cultivates high-level professionals who possess leadership, digital skills, and competencies in business and professional accounting, as well as multi-industry communication. It trains future leaders the industry and creates a high-level professional exchange platform for enterprises and institutions.

The CGMA A Star Program  

help young elites succeed with public support; 

launch in-depth industry dialogues and cross-industry integration; 

take the lead in targeting top college talents 

and find solutions in actual business cases.

It provides full scholarships of 80,000 yuan to each selected student with free registration and training. CGMA's global top cooperative employers will give priority to hiring outstanding graduates of this program for jobs and internships.

This year the association received thousands of resumes from students at prestigious universities in many countries and regions around the world.

CGMA, jointly sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, is the most widely held management accounting title in the world. More than 150,000 accounting and finance professionals worldwide who are proficient in finance, operations, strategy and management have earned this title.
