The 2021 online meeting between Guangdong university students and Japanese enterprises was held on Dec. 16. More than 20 students from JNU's School of Economics, Institute for Economic and Social Research, and Institute for Environmental and Climate Research joined the meeting, exchanging ideas on Efforts Made by Chinese and Japanese Enterprises to Cope with Climate Change with Japanese experts and entrepreneurs

The meeting was co-hosted by the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship With Foreign Countries and the Japan Economic Broadcasting Center. It was supported by the Guangdong Department of Education.
A representative of the Japan Business Federation's Department of Environment and Energy described measures by Japanese enterprises and experts to deal with climate change. Focusing on the same topic, experts and scholars from the Panasonic Group, Tejin Limited and Japanese universities shared their experiences of coping with climate change.
JNU students actively asked representatives of Japanese enterprises questions about the use and transport of hydrogen energy, as well as garbage collection in Japan, receiving detailed replies.
Initiated in 2015, this exchange project of student delegations to Japan has been a brand project of the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship With Foreign Countries in conducting youth exchanges and communication.
