Profs. Lu Weigang, Zhou Xiaoping and Li Dan of the Institute of Supramolecular Coordination Chemistry in JNU’s College of Chemistry and Materials Science, in collaboration with Prof. He Jian of Hong Kong University, have published their research findings in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. The paper, “Building a Pyrazole−Benzothiadiazole−Pyrazole Photosensitizer Into Metal−Organic Frameworks for Photocatalytic Aerobic Oxidation,” presented the team's breakthrough in the role of organic frameworks in photocatalytic organic synthesis, the basic skeleton of marine natural products.

The first authors are Le Jikang, a postdoctoral researcher, and Wu Kun, a Ph.D. student. JNU is the corresponding unit.
