An exhibition of Chinese cloisonne art opened in the Sihai Art Space on JNU's main campus to celebrate the 115th anniversary of JNU's founding, with master lectures during the opening ceremony. The exhibition, which will last a month, is guided by the Chinese National Arts and Crafts Society and JNU, and hosted by the JNU Academy of Cultural Heritage and Creativity and the Chinese and Foreign Enamel Art Museum.

Enamel art originated in the West and flourished in China. Cloisonne, known as a diplomatic envoy to spread Chinese culture in the new era, is the artistic crystallization of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. On the occasion of JNU's 115th anniversary, with the cooperation of Chinese and foreign enamel art galleries and a Beijing enamel factory, this exhibition displayed cloisonne in domestic universities for the first time.

In the Zhigong Lecture Hall, a series of lectures themed Chinese Craftsman was held during the exhibition. Chen Ping,dean of the JNU Academy of Cultural Heritage and Creativity, spoke on making good use of cultural heritage to tell Chinese stories and to protect and regenerate cultural heritage under the new development pattern.
At the lecture, the academy held a recruitment ceremony and appointed Zhong Liansheng as a senior researcher.
