The unveiling ceremony of the relief wall carving the pioneers of Chinese medicine and the First Brain Hospital of Jinan University was held on Nov. 12 in its Sunshine Hall, with JNU Party Secretary Bi Sicheng presidingr. Attending were JNU President Song Xianzhong; Vice President Ye Wencai; Liang Zhongjing, director  of JNU board; and Academician Su Guohui.

For the hospital's 40th anniversary, it built a relief wall to honor pioneers'  achievements and to inspire all hospital staff members to work together to build a high-level hospital.

At the ceremony, Bi announced the Notice on the Establishment of the First Brain Hospital of Jinan University, and all the leaders and guests witnessed the unveiling. Subsequently, Su's appointment ceremony as the hositpal’s special professor  and chief scientist was held. Song issued the letter of appointment.

As an important clinical base of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Neurology Center of Jinan University, the brain hospital, with Su as the chief scientist and Prof. Xu An'ding as chief clinical expert, mobilizes relevant medical institutions and academic units in Hong Kong, Macao and the Pearl River Delta to build am open, cross-unit neurology research and development innovation platform and clinical treatment center.
