A team of undergraduates from the Law School and Intellectual Property School won second prize in the eighth National College Students Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Education and organized by the Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

After two days of competition, both Yi Kang and Yu Jiahong of the 2019 law class won the title Best Debater. Prof. Hu Lusheng and Prof. Liang Sen received Outstanding Instructor awards.

On the initiative of Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Educational Institutions, the competition was created in 2013 by 12 well-known law schools in China. In its eight sessions, it has become an influential national competition platform for law education.
