A JNU team led by Prof. Mai Yaohua, associate researcher Wu Shaohang and Dr. Gao Yanyan from the Institute of New Energy Technology in JNU's School of Microelectronics reports a breakthrough in research on large-area organic/inorganic hybrid perovskite photovoltaic modules. Tested and authenticated by the Center of Photovoltaic Testing, the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic modules reached 21.37% (aperture area=12.84 cm2), and the maximum stable conversion efficiency of power points reached 20.56%, ranking No. 1 in the world.
The team has been devoted to solving the key problems in perovskite photovoltaic industrialization and developing vital technologies, including large-scale film growth, high-efficiency passivation and low-damage electrode. It has made a series of achievements in studying high-efficiency perovskite cells, flexible perovskite cells and translucent devices, publishing about 100 articles in famous journals and having nine core technology patents.
