The JNU Trade Union organized new faculty and staff members to Lianhuashan Mountain in Guangzhou's Panyu district on Oct. 23. JNU Vice President Rao Min and more than 100 new faculty and staff members participated in the activity to build a platform for them  to communicate with one another and help them integrate into the big JNU family as quickly as possible.

On behalf of the university, Rao extended a warm welcome to the new faculty and staff members. She called the Trade Union their home and expressed hope that through the activity, everyone could be integrated into JNU as soon as possible.

At the beginning of the activity, the new faculty and staff members introduced themselves in terms of their positions and hobbies. Then everyone learned the JNU song and the university's history and cultural heritage through singing, strengthening the sense of identification with Jinan people.

Newcomers said the activity made them feel the love and warmth of the JNU family.
