Prof. Tan Xiaoqing's team in the mathematics department of JNU's College of Information Science and Technology has made progress in secure quantum computing and published a paper titled Verification of blind quantum computation with entanglement witnesses in Physical Review A, the journal of the American Physical Society. Xu Qingshan, a Ph.D. candidate, is the first author, Tan is the corresponding author and JNU is the only unit.
The research is supported by JNU's Cryptographic Coding Laboratory and funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Basic and Applied Basic Research of Guangdong and the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong. The paper is a master's research achievement by Xu when he was working toward his master's degree in mathematics. He is now a first-year doctoral student in cyberspace security in the college. The paper's publication reflects improvement in postgraduate training quality at JNU.
