Prof. Wang Tong's team affiliated with the Ministry of Education's key laboratory of tumor molecular biology in JNU's College of Life Science Technology, in cooperation with two distinguished associate researchers at JNU, Cui Yizhi and Guo Jiahui, has made a breakthrough in isolating extracellular vesicles toward clinical applications. It published a paper titled Establishment of a simplified dichotomic size-exclusion chromatography for isolating extracellular vesicles toward clinical applications in the Journal of Extracellular Vesicle (IF=25.841) on Sept. 12. The research was independently completed by Wang's team, with JNU as the only completion unit it. The corresponding authors are Wang Cui, and Guo is the first author.
The research is fully supported by the National Science Plan International Cooperation Project, the Yangtze River Scholars Award Program, the National Science and Technology Major Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Applied Science and Technology R&D Special Fund Project, the Guangzhou Innovation Leading Team Project, and the Guangzhou Industry-University-Research Collaborative Innovation Project.
