JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng concluded the university's practice and explorations on the construction of a new media matrix during the unveiling ceremony of the media+ center on April 30.

The center will be built as a hub for news and public opinion, a base for cultural development, a space for online education and a platform for media+ training. It will explore the new path of online education integrated with Internet +Culture + Service + Education. Through resource integration, process optimization, platform re-engineering, technological innovation and team-building, the center is committed to promoting the integrated development of educational media at JNU. Relying on the center, JNU will build a new media alliance covering the whole university. It will link all units of the university in content production, information release and dealing with public opinion. It will also reconstruct the information production and communication mechanism of joint planning, core collection, resource-sharing, classified editing, multiple generation, multi-channel push, interactive communication and public opinion feedback to build a platform of network culture construction and resource-sharing.
