Yu Yifan, majoring in directing drama, film and television, enrolled in Arts College of Jinan University in 2017. This year, he is participating in the selection of JNU 5A Guiding Program as a model student for the third year. In previous years, he was named a Star of Entrepreneurship and Star of Leadership. This year he was honored as a Star of Jinan. He gained these titles with his comprehensive study strength, innovation and entrepreneurship, and work organizing students.

Yu's work experience in the Student Union and Student Congress has more deeply integrated him  into JNU. As a teachers' assistant, he is in charge of planning  student leader growth. He not only completed the routine work of organizing meetings, writing proposals and carrying out training courses with excellent execution and leadership, but also took the lead in introducing eight courses in traditional Chinese culture, such as calligraphy, archery, traditional Han Dynasty clothing, and dragon and lion dance, into training courses at all levels.

With a group of like-minded friends, including mainland and overseas Chinese students, Yu launched a series of cultural and creative products with JNU features, not only satisfying faculty members' and students' cultural needs, but also promoting JNU features.

Engrossed in innovation and startups, Yu has taken part in programs and industries in various enterprises and teams during his undergraduate studies, involving product image planning, corporate image operation, product entity exhibition and marketing, and short video content operation.

Yu, who has been recommended for graduate studies in the college, looks forward to studying lesser-known fields more deeply and using his professional knowledge in his future work.
