Hong Kong and Macao residents of Chinese nationality who are living on the Chinese mainland may now receive the COVID-19 vaccine on a voluntary basis, according to the latest notice of the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism Against COVID-19. Responding to the national call, Guangdong started administering COVID-19 vaccines to those residents on April 11.

JNU's Community Healthcare Center has become a dedicated vaccination site. On April 11, many JNU students lined up there for vaccination. As the biggest recruitment and cultivation base for Hong Kong and Macao students on the Chinese mainland, JNU has nearly 8,000 such students registered -- over 5,000 from Hong Kong and over 2,000 from Macao.

As of April 10, Guangdong had administrated 12.8541 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to 10.5646 million people, with 2.2657 million completing the full two doses. 

Liu believes that there is a very close relationship between tea and Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
