Nie Tieliang, a JNU alumnus who is the director of Zhongzhixin (Guangdong) Certified Public Accountants, donated 1 million yuan to the Management School's Accounting Department on March 16 to support the construction of digital accounting courses and personnel training. In addition, Nie pledged that Zhongzhixin would provide student positions every year for IT auditing and consulting practice.

Attending the donation ceremony were JNU Vice President Hong An; Jiang Hong, party secretary and president of Shantou University; Yuan Qing, vice president and secretary general of the Guangdong Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Jiang Jianping, secretary general of Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and Liang Yan, secretary general of the JNU Education Development Foundation. Liang accepted the donation on behalf of JNU and issued Nie a donation certificate.

Hong expressed her heartfelt thanks to Nie on behalf of teachers and students. Being concerned about the development of JNU, Nie has actively served as a postgraduate practice instructor and supervisor of the Guangzhou Alumni Association of JNU, she said. She added that JNU would manage and use the donation according to Nie's wishes to make best use of it.

Nie said accounting is the common language of the commercial society, and Zhongzhixin Certified Public Accountants uses accounting to serve society with its roots in JNU's Accounting Department. Its students are the future of the accounting profession and society, he said. I am a JNU accountant, he said, and I am a lucky Zhongzhixin Certified Public Accountants staff member. Zhongzhixin Certified Public Accountants has desired for many years to make contributions to JNU's discipline construction.
