JNU Vice President Zhang Hong led a delegation to Japan, South Korea and Mongolia from Oct. 10 to 19. The aims of the visit were to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, cultivate talents in the medical field, jointly cultivate postgraduates, and discuss campus development and innovation.
JNU signed cooperation agreements with Seoul National University of Science and Technology and the National University of Mongolia (NUM), and reached consensus on signing agreements with Kagawa University in Japan and Health Sciences University of Mongolia. The delegation also visited the Chiba University School of Medicine and the Kagawa University Faculty of Medicine in Japan. It met with leaders of JNU's sister universities, including Soongsil University in South Korea and Toyo University (TU) in Japan.
The delegation visited the Education Office of the Embassy of China (EOEC) in South Korea and the Cultural Office of the Chinese embassy in Mongolia to report on the latest situation of cultural and educational exchanges under "One Belt, One Road".
