Advanced Energy Materials, a top-ranked journal in the international energy field, has published a paper by Prof. Tang Qunwei's team from the Institute of New Energy Technology in JNU’s College of Information Science. The paper is titled Lanthanide Ions Doped CsPbBr3 Halides for HTM-free 10.14%-Efficiency Inorganic Perovskite Solar Cell with an Ultrahigh Open-Circuit Voltage of 1.594 V. Doctoral student Duan Jialong was the first author, and Tang was the corresponding author. The research received support from the National Natural Science Foundation (project number: 61774139, 21503202) and the Fundamental Research Funds for Universities (project number: 11618409).
Tang, an outstanding talent at JNU, devotes his work to research on new energy materials and devices. In the last five years, his team has released over 150 SCI papers in international authoritative journals on materials and chemistry, including over 110 papers with high impact factors in Journal Citation Reports. His national key publishing planning monograph, Optoelectronic Materials and Devices, was published by Science Press, as well as a chapter in English Counter Electrodes for Dye-Sensitized and Perovskite Solar Cells, Chapter 3 published by John Wiley & Sons. The team has won two second prizes in the Science Research Famous Achievement Awards in Higher Institution and five awards for scientific research at the provincial and city levels. Much of its research has been reported by important institutions and media including China's Ministry of Science and Technology, Science and Technology Daily, Xinhua News Agency and CCTV. His research was listed among 2016 advances in the International Research of Basic Cross-Disciplinary Science.
