Jinan University held its graduation gala in auditorium on the main campus on June 26. More than 2,000 graduates and teachers attended.

The theme of the gala, Forge ahead: Embark on the new journey of life encouraged the graduates to embrace their futures.

Representatives of every school, dressed in caps and gowns, school uniforms, evening gowns and traditional Chinese costume, walked a red carpet, winning the admiration of the audience.

At the ceremony were two Outstanding Graduates, Chen Aisen and Xie Siyi. Chen won gold medals in both the Men's 10-Meter Platform and the Men's Synchronized Diving 10-Meter Platform at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and Xie was the champion in the Men's 1-Meter Springboard at the FINA World Championships in 2015. School leaders and professors from the College of Economics walked into the ceremony arm in arm with the graduates.

After the red carpet, the graduates took photos with their professors, schoolmates and friends, freezing the moment to express their blessings to the university, gratitude to their professors and love for their schoolmates.

That night a graduation party was held on the theme of Go for your dreams and write a new chapter of your life,  bringing the graduates a brilliant show.
