JNU Vice President Rao Min headed a delegation to Panama, Argentina and Chile from April 13 to 20. The delegation visited Universidad de Panama in Panama; Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) and Universidad del Salvador in Argentina; and Universidad Central de Chile (UCC) in Chile. It also visited the Chinese embassies in Panama, Argentina and Chile, as well as overseas Chinese groups and organizations and Chinese schools.

The delegation participated in a seminar at UNR on Adding Latin America Into the One Belt and One Road Strategy and one at UCC on Chinese Immigrants in Chile and Latin America.

The purposes of the visit were to implement the important measures of JNU's One Belt and One Road Construction Working Plan and to promote cooperation between JNU and universities in Latin America.
