Led by Li Bingji, deputy chairman of the Guangdong Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, a delegation of 13 party members, all medical experts or entrepreneurs, went to Qixingguan District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, from April 10 to 13 for the 26th medical aid and investment environment research. Chief physicians Peng Xuemei, Xu Jianping and Wang Lihua, three grassroots party members at Jinan University, participated.

This activity was arranged by the Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, one of China's eight legally recognized political parties, for the construction of the pilot area in Bijie, targeted alleviation of poverty, and further improvement of the medical environment and the level of diagnosis and treatment in poor areas.

At the People's Hospital of Qixingguan, the three grassroots party members helped medical staff members  improve their level of diagnosis and treatment by making rounds in the hospital wards, tailoring particular plans for medical treatment and explaining medical knowledge. They received positive comments from the local medical staff members and patients.
