To observe the 100th anniversary of JNU's business studies on March 26, the Jinan University Entrepreneurs' Alumni Association was established at the Zengxianzi Science Museum the day before.

Participants in the meeting included Prof. Lin Rupeng, JNU Party Committee secretary; President Song Xianzhong; former President Hu Jun; University Directors Ye Huiquan, Ke Rongqing, Kong Jianmin and other alumni entrepreneur representatives, as well as more than 400 teachers and students from various colleges.
The general assembly elected the association’s council and advisory committee to provide a platform and an organizational foundation for the association's long and far-reaching development. Ye was elected president of the association.

Song complimented the association's efforts to promote the innovative transformation of the university's achievements in science and technology. He said he hoped the association could continue to develop Jinan Spirit and expand the advantages of its business studies for a brighter future in the next hundred years.
Addressing the meeting, Lin congratulated the association on its establishment and expressed his expectation of win-win cooperation by exerting the advantages of academic and subject resources, paying attention to the growth of students and young alumni, and being an innovative alumni association.
In the work plan, Ye said the association aims to create a service and operation platform for JNU's entrepreneur alumni under the operational mode of platform plus fund. With a commitment to promoting sustained development of alumni and school courses, it aims to build the world’s most influential Chinese brand and spread the spirit of JNU.
