On Nov. 18 and 19, on the occasion of JNU's 111th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of the Alumni Federation, the university organized a series of activities. 

The first alumni working conference and the Fifth Council of the Alumni Association met at Zeng Xianzi Science Hall on Nov. 18. The conference passed the new constitution and the list of the Fifth Council. Ma Youheng was re-elected president, and Vice President Song Xian zhong was elected chairman.

That morning, the 111th-anniversary alumni donations and overseas purchase point signing ceremony for the Overseas Chinese Literature Museum were held at JNU's library. Donations will go toward the construction and development of JNU. Vice President Hon An presented a donation certificate to the alumni.

On the 19th, the third joint meeting of the Global Alumni Association's president and secretary-general was held in Dongguan. More than 70 alumni organizations from the United States, Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macao and cities in mainland China participated.

Founded in 1992, the alumni association has 116 alumni branches in China and abroad, all of which have made important contributions to JNU's construction and development.
