Ma said that it was a great honor to welcome the team to the university for the second time and that he looked forward to inviting more excellent athletes to campus to meet and share their inspirational experiences with JNU students.
Hu remarked that JNU has always fostered a good tradition and strength in sport. In recent years, JNU students including Chen Aisen, Su Bingtian, Mo Youxue and Xie Sichang have excelled in domestic and international competitions, winning honors for China. Hu also encouraged students to communicate actively with excellent athletes and to pass on the spirit of sportsmanship.
Zhou said she greatly appreciated the impressive performance of JNU students in domestic and international competitions, as well as their effort to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship. She also expressed her hope that through such events promoting interaction between schools and athletes, more people could understand, pay attention to and participate in diving and other sports.
