Gao Qingsheng’s research team in JNU's College of Chemical Industry and Materials reports recent progress in non-noble metal catalysts. The team reduced the overpotential of hydrogen evolution reaction to significantly improve the hydrogen-production efficiency of electro-catalytic activity by controlling the structure of molybdenum-based carbide and sulfide. Three papers related to this research have been published, two as cover papers, in important journals: Energy and Enviromental Science (IF: 25.427), ACS Cataysis. (IF: 9.307) and ChemSusChem (IF: 7.116). The team previously published papers in Chemical Science of Advanced Materials and Journal of Materials Chemistry A. It has published over 20 A1 papers in this field, of which are highly cited and four were journal cover papers.
