The third World Track and Field Relay began in the Bahamas on April 23. Running in the 4×100m preliminary, Su Bingtian, Mo Youxue and other team members qualified for the London World Championships. The Chinese men’s track and field team, led by Su, won the bronze medal -- a big step for the Chinese team in this event.

The World Diving Series in Windsor, Canada, ended on April 24 with the 2017 FINA Diving World Series after four regional matches. Chen Aisen and Xie Siyi, JNU undergraduates majoring in international economics and trade, won 12 gold medals, 3 silver and 1 bronze. Chen won 8 gold medals in the men’s diving 10-meter platform event, while Xie won 4 gold medals, 3 silver and 1 bronze.
