"2016 Remin University of China Seminar on Humanities & Social Science Achievement Evaluation and Disciplinary Construction" was held on March 29th, on which several reports were released, including " 2015 Citation Ranking & Analysis Report", "2015 Report on Important Citation Sources Agency for Journals Reprint", and the 2015 Important Citation Sources Agency Certificates were given to universities and institutes on the seminar.

Twenty-three papers from 2015 "Jinan Journal (philosophy and social sciences edition) were cited and reprinted by Remin University of China, ranks NO. 54 together with other 4 journals including Journal of Wuhan University (philosophy and social sciences edition) among the total 425 comprehensive journals, and and ranks NO. 18 among all high institutes scholarly journals .

In the overall ranking of colleges and universities, the number of citation of Jinan University was 65, ranking No. 34 among 653 higher institutes. Renmin University of China, Peking University, Nanjing University, respectively ranked in the top three with citation number being 675, 465, 290 respectively.

Also our university ranked No. 17 in applied economics with the citation number being 17 ( Fudan University, Northwestern University also ranked No. 17, and ranked No. 8 with citation number being 3 in psychology.

The current seminar was undertaken by Information Center for Social sciences of Remin University of China and Humanities & Social Sciences Achievement Evaluation Center. Professor Sun Shengyun, Professor Yan Yuezhen, and Professor Sun Qingzhong were invited to attend the seminar.
