The founding conference of International Collaborative Lab and the first academic committee meeting was held on April 9th in our university. 

Ms Hong An, vice president of our university declared the founding of the academic committee and conferred appointment letters to the all the committee members. She said that the lab was an important part of our high-level university development plan.

The academic committee conference was chaired by Professor Gu Xiaosong. They listened to and had discussion over a report given by director of the collaborative lab on lab building plan. The committee member all agreed that the project was carried out on a solid foundation, and had a clear research target.

The committee gave their advice that the Lab should focus more on collaboration with universities and institutes in Hong Kong, Macao, and other countries in disciplinary program design, personnel training, commercialization of research findings, so as to expand their reach internationally. The committee also gave Jinan University their advice that the University should provide more support to the lab and get everything ready for the application of national key lab fund.
