On March 24th, the final competition of  eight Challenge Cup of Jinan University, an undergraduate business venture contest was held. Fierce 25 projects including "Indoor Pollution Control," "Scenic Area Navigation" and etc competed with each other fiercely and the winner  will attend provincial Challenge Cup contest of Guangdong

Before the final contest, the inauguration of Jinan University Xinhao Fund and donation ceremony was held. Shenzhen Xinhao Charity Foundation donated 200,000 yuan to establish Jinan University Xinhao fund, which will be used exclusively for funding our university on the Challenge Cup contest. Ms Rao min, vice president of our university, and Mr. Ouyang Yiping, our 1993 alumnus, president of Shenzhen Xinhao Investment Development Co. Ltd. attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

Ms Rao Ming expressed that, our university had always been attaching great importance to students' business venture and we had achieved good results in all Challenge Cup contests in the past. She also said, that Xin Hao Kind Fund’s concern to our university’s development and progress of our students and the donnation for setting up the Challenge Cup Fund would encourage and help young students to make progress and make new attemps. She also encouraged all the students taking part into the contest to make good use of this chance and resources given to them in turn for the generosity of Xinhao co. and to contribute their part for the realization of China Dream.

Mr. Ouyang Yiping said that, since the established in 2005, Shenzhen Xin Hao Kind Fund actively carried out charitable activities, and was appreciated from the all sectors of society. The purpose of setting up the Challenge Cup Fund for Jinan University was hope to encourage young students to actively take part inhe challenge cup and improve their abilities of starting a new venture.

In the contest, outstanding entrepreneurial projects emerge in endlessly. For example, the project presented by Di Bai Rui Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. , which has been working in public health life closely related to the indoor environmental pollution control products and applications technology development and promotion; iLeading Area Navigation Technology Co., Ltd., presented scenic area navigation service technology and so on.

the contest judge panel was formed by several entrepreneurs Mr. Ouyang Yiping, Mr. Xiang Yang, chairman of Guangdong Rundu flourishing Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd, Mr. Jin Dong Jing, General Manage of the Guangdong long Kang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. And Mr. Zhang Baohua, co-founder of Jing Hui Investment Co., Ltd. .

Since the contest was launched in November 2015, students have actively participated in the event. Before the contest, nearly 100 projects were submitted by students. Among them, 67 were business plan competition projects, 12 entrepreneurial practice challenge projects, and 18 entrepreneurship competition projects. After strict selection in preliminaries and the semi-finals, eventually a total of 25 projects entered the final contest. The final contest was carried out via presentation and reply, and outstanding projects would be selected to attend the Guangdong Province Challenge Cup contest.
Also, Ms Rao Min issued letter of appointment to Ouyang Yiping to appoint him as Jinan University young students innovation and entrepreneurship tutor , and student contestants  presented flowers to Mr. Ouyang Yiping to express their gratitude to him for his support to the game.
Ceremony presided over by the Communist Youth League secretary Cheng Pinxing. Shenzhen XinHao Investment and Development Co., Ltd. Assistant President Chen Wenxiang, our school Director of Foreign Liaison Liang Yan, Director of District students Xiang Li, president of Entrepreneurship College Zhang Yaohui, director of the Student Career Center He Qingwen, Foreign Liaison Deputy Commissioner and President of Alumni office Xia Qi, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs He Kaijia, the leadership and the Communist Youth League secretary of the college students in charge of the work, as well as contest judges, entries instructor and participating students attended the ceremony. Before the ceremony, they also visited the exhibition of outstanding entrepreneurial projects.
