According to the Monthly Report on Result Acceptance (2015, Dec))issued by National Planning Office of Philosophy & Social Sciences, t"Asian American literary criticism paradigm and the theory of keyword research"(ID: 09CWW008 ), a national social science fund project headed by   professor Pu Ruoqian from College of Foreign Studies was rated "excellent" rating.

 Among the total 206 projects undergoing acceptance this time, only 22 were rated "excellent"; the excellent rate is less than 11%.

The project grounded their research on the basis of intensive reading towards the original works of Asian American criticism and literary text, conducting a consecutive survey on the process and development of Asian American literary criticism. Also, the team had categorization and itemization on Asian American literary criticism of the basic theoretical propositions and on their poems and had in-depth analysis towards the fundamental group of evaluation paradigm and theoretical keywords.
