“Yasuhisa Cup" World Heritage Protection and Development Proposal Competition was held recently. "Kaiping Watchtowers" Project presented by "ZuJi" team from Shenzhen Tourism College of our university, won the favour of all the 10 judge referees and pocketed home the the first prize, the highest prize of the competition.  

Before the competition, the member of "ZuJi" (Team members: Xian Yanjie, Lan Tianyi and Yang Han, Jia Lingyue, Dang Haoyan) designed targeted questionnaire survey of Kaiping towers and had a three-day field-study, under the careful guidance of Yi Xiaoli teacher,Jing Xiuli teacher. After the teacher's professional counseling and team members’ modification and improvement, finally presented an excellent proposal and wonderful show. In the final scene, the team members also performed perfectly in Q&A session and finally Shenzhen Tourism College "ZuJi" team won the favour of all the 10 judge referees and pocketed home the the first prize, the highest prize of the competition.

The contest invited universities in Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao to attended the contest, encouraging the tourism majors students to conduct research and analysis on world heritage resorts of Guangdong Province and neighboring provinces, and worked out feasible plan promote the application of technology and methods of wisdom tourism in World Heritage tourism development and protection.
